The Queen's bright green spring outfit leaves royal fans in awe
On Wednesday, the Queen donned a daring dress for her first public appearance of 2021. Her Majesty stepped out in a bright green outfit as she visited Runnymede in Surrey, looking every inch excited for the warmer spring weather.
The queen, 94, looked chic in an Angela Kelly lime green and ivory jacket, with a matching hat for a touch of Easter spirit.
A wrap pattern with yellow tulips and white flowers surrounded the outside of the statement headpiece, which was also created by the same artist.
The Queen completed her outfit with a pearl necklace and earrings, as well as the Australian wattle brooch she got during her first visit to Australia in 1954.
Despite the fact that the weather was steadily growing colder, the royal remained toasty with a pair of black gloves that went well with her handbag and shoes.
Her Majesty's Equerry laid a wreath on her behalf at the CWGC Air Forces Memorial to commemorate the Royal Australian Air Force's 100th anniversary.
The caption, which appeared alongside a series of images posted on the royal family's official Instagram account, read: "The Queen visited the Air Forces Memorial at Runnymede today to see some of the 1,300 names of Royal Australian Air Force personnel who have died in the service of their country. Her Majesty opened the Memorial on October 17, 1953."
The monarch's glamorous dress was instantly praised by royal fans in the comments section. "Our Queen is looking great," one person said, while another added, "Her Majesty looks fabulous in that dress, the colors are so spring-like!'"
"Beautifully springy," remarked a third.
Royal fans can remember the Queen's most recent appearance from previous royal engagements. She wore the same pretty green dress at Royal Ascot in June 2019, and she looked just as beautiful at her 90th birthday celebrations in 2016.
